Sandwich Pipe is the secure data pipeline that connects an agency's care events (visits, notes, medications, incidents) to the family members the client has authorized. The agency never has to build a family-facing app — Sandwich is the family app, and Sandwich Pipe is the wiring.

No. Sandwich Soft is web-first. Caregivers open soft.joinsandwich.com on whatever phone they already have. Works in any modern browser, supports iOS Safari, and runs offline so visits in basement units or rural areas keep working.
We sign BAAs with all our subprocessors (Google Cloud, Vercel, Postmark, Anthropic, Twilio) and operate under our own BAA template with each agency. Raw PHI lives in an isolated Cloud Run environment — Sandwich itself only ever sees redacted summaries.
Family-share is opt-in per client by the client (or their authorized representative). Agencies don't turn it on unilaterally. If a client revokes, family events stop instantly and prior data is purged on request.
If you're already on AxisCare, ClearCare, AlayaCare, or HHAeXchange, Sandwich Soft sits alongside them and pulls events through Sandwich Pipe. We replace the family-update layer, not your back-office scheduling.
